Choose the report based on the question you need to answer. Payment reports explain transactions, X- and Z-reports cover the cash register, and payout reports explain the amount deposited in your bank.
Choose the right report
- Analytics & Reporting → Payments: search and export individual payments.
- Analytics & Reporting → X-Reports: generate a current, non-closing register snapshot.
- Analytics & Reporting → Z-Reports: view finalized register reports and configure report sendouts.
- Analytics & Reporting → Payouts: reconcile payment-provider payouts to the bank.
Do not compare a gross sales total directly with a net payout. Refunds, tips, discounts, fees, corrections and provider adjustments can change the bank deposit.
Find or export payments
- Open Analytics & Reporting → Payments.
- Choose the location and date range.
- Apply the relevant status or payment-method filters.
- Check the on-screen total.
- Use the export action to download the filtered rows when you need line-level reconciliation.
Use X- and Z-reports
An X-report is a current snapshot and does not close the reporting period. Open X-Reports, select the date range, then choose Generate X Report.
A Z-report is the finalized register report. Open Z-Reports, use Reports to find a period, and use Sendouts to manage report email delivery. Cash-register settings must be complete before these reports are available.
Reconcile a payout
- Open Payouts → Payout Reports.
- Select the payout period.
- Compare the report's final net amount with the bank deposit.
- Download PDF for a readable record or CSV for line-by-line checks.
Payout reports cover payouts from 18 April 2026 onward. Ask support for an older period.
When to contact support
Include the location, report type, exact date range, filter settings, displayed total, expected total and the first row or category where the difference appears. This is more useful than sending only a screenshot of the final total.
