Trivec is the source of truth for a Trivec-managed product catalogue. Configure the integration in Karma, then sync the relevant device after making product changes in Trivec.
Configure the connection
You need the Trivec host, app ID and at least one device name and secret. Keep these credentials private.
- Open Apps → Trivec.
- Select the Settings tab.
- Enter Host, App ID, and any center key or sequence number supplied for your setup.
- Add each device with its Name and App secret.
- Choose whether orders should complete automatically only if that matches your operating workflow.
- Save the settings.
If you do not have these values, ask your Trivec administrator or Karma onboarding contact. Do not guess them.
Sync Trivec
- On the Trivec page, select Sync.
- Confirm the status card says Connected.
- Find the intended device and select its sync button.
- Wait until the status changes from syncing to completed.
- Review Sync history. If the job failed, open the displayed reason before retrying.
Only one sync can run for a device at a time.
Edit a Trivec-managed item
Change core product information—such as the product itself, base price or VAT—in Trivec, then run a sync. In Karma, fields that belong to the connected POS may be locked or overwritten. Karma-specific presentation fields can remain editable where the integration supports a local override.
If an item maps to the wrong Trivec product, do not repeatedly rename or recreate it in Karma. Record the Karma item, Trivec product and device, then ask support to investigate the mapping.
When to contact support
Include the location, device name, sync start time, final status, error reason and one example product. Never send device secrets or passwords in a normal support message.
