Account and access

Sign in to Karma on a new device

Open Karma in a supported browser, sign in with your own user, and select the correct location. Separate staff users make access changes and activity easier to manage.

  1. On the new device, open serve.karma.life for production or the approved staging URL for testing.
  2. Continue to Karma's sign-in page.
  3. Enter your work email and password.
  4. Complete any security prompt.
  5. Select the correct organization and location if Karma asks.
  6. Confirm the expected Home or POS page opens.

Do not bookmark a temporary authentication URL. Bookmark Karma after sign-in instead.

Give another staff member access

Do not share a manager's password as the normal setup for a second device or employee. A location administrator should open Settings → Team & Roles, invite or create the staff user, and grant only the permissions they need.

The same account can technically remain open on more than one device, but separate users are recommended for traceability and safe offboarding.

If Karma keeps loading or returns to sign-in

  1. Check the device's internet connection.
  2. Reload the page once.
  3. Close other stale Karma tabs and reopen serve.karma.life.
  4. Confirm the device date and time are set automatically.
  5. Try a private browser window. If that works, clear site data for Karma and sign in again.
  6. If the password is rejected, use the password-reset action instead of repeatedly guessing.

Support cannot safely force-log-out an unknown device based only on an informal request. An authorized administrator can remove or reset the affected user, or support can help after verifying the account and location.

When to contact support

Include the user email, location, device and browser, the page where the loop begins, the visible error and a screenshot with passwords hidden. Never send your password.
