To start receiving payments and payouts, you must create an account with Adyen through Karma for Business. This step is required before your first sale on Karma as part of your onboarding process.

Create a new payout account in Karma for Business:
Go to All Settings in the menu.
Click on Payment Info (New).
3. Fill in the basic details for your new payout account and click Save.

5. Enter the account number and clearing number where your earnings from Karma will be paid. Click Save.
2. Verify your business with Adyen.
Click on Verify your business with Adyen. You will be redirected to a new page on Adyen's website.
2. (Optional) Change the language to Swedish using the language menu at the top right of the page.
3. Complete the business information by clicking on Add Information.
4. Fill in your business details and click Next.
5. Fill in your registered business address. Note: If your business operates at a different location than your registered address, you must mark this. Click Next.
6. Provided all information is correctly filled in, you can complete this step by clicking Done.
On the main page, you will see how much time is left for Adyen to verify the information you just provided.
7. Complete the bank information by clicking on Upload a Document. Note: Do not click on Add Information.
8. Click on Browse for File to search for a file to upload from your computer. Note: Be patient during the file upload. It may take a few seconds for the page to update, and if you upload the same file again during that time, the entire verification process will be frozen.
Acceptable bank documents:
Canceled blank check
Bank letter on official letterhead
Bank statement from the last 3 months
Screenshot from your online banking environment
Documents must show:
The bank's official logo
Your bank account number (the last 4 digits are sufficient)
Your name as the account holder
File requirements:
JPG, JPEG, PDF, or PNG
Between 10 KB and 10 MB
Color, cropped, and straightened image
9. Once the correct document is uploaded, this step is complete, and you can go back.

11. Select the person's roll
Owner: Individuals who own 25% or more of the company.
Controller: Individuals within the company who have the authority to make decisions on behalf of the company but are not necessarily an Owner. This can include a CEO or a senior manager.
Signatory: Individuals who have the authority to act on behalf of the company in its relationship with Adyen.
You must ensure that at least the following are provided:
Either: a. 1 Owner (if they own more than 25% of your company), or b. 1 Controller (if your company does not have an Owner)

Note: The Signatory can also be the Owner/Controller. Therefore, it is fine to enter only one person if they are both the Owner/Controller AND the Signatory, such as the CEO.
12. Fill in the person's job title, first name, last name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and country. Click Next.
13. Fyll i personens adress. Klicka på Nästa.
14. The Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) is now filled in, and provided all information is correct, it will show that the person is Verified.
15. Provided all the information has been filled in correctly, your verification with Adyen is now complete. Click Done to finish the verification.
Your payout account is now displayed as Completed in Karma for Business!
Note! Adyen may need to collect additional information about your company and the designated Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), so keep an eye on the Payment Info page in Karma for Business.

Who is Adyen?
Adyen provides payment services, and we at Karma collaborate with them to process your transactions through our service and to pay out your funds to your bank account.
Why is Adyen needed?
According to the European payment regulations, PSD2, we, as a marketplace, must use an approved payment provider, which in this case is Adyen. Adyen meets the PSD2 requirements and the many security standards for online payments. Using Karma is therefore safe, convenient, and fully compliant with regulations!
Why does Adyen need so much information about our company?
Adyen must comply with certain international banking regulations. These regulations require them to verify some of your information through official registers, including performing identity and bank checks. Once all this is completed, you will be authorized to accept transactions and receive payouts via Karma.
Note! If your information is not received or cannot be verified in time, Adyen will have to stop all payment processing and payouts. Please contact us at Karma.
What happens with our data at Adyen?
Adyen has a Privacy Policy that outlines how they process and store all the information you share with them. They take data protection seriously and will never share your information with advertisers.
Adyen's insurance team may view your information and documents during the verification process, and they are also required to share this with third parties that help them match the information with official registers. Finally, according to their partnership agreement, we at Karma can see your information, but we cannot access any of the documents you upload.
Why does Adyen require me to upload an ID?
To verify your identity, Adyen needs to see an official photo ID issued by the government. Make sure the document is still valid—Adyen cannot process expired, hole-punched, or otherwise modified documents.
Adyen accepts a scan or photo of one of these ID types:
Passport: Make sure to scan the data page, including your photo and all information.
Driver’s License: Upload a scan of both the front and back.
ID Card: Scan both the front and back of a government-issued ID card.
