To start receiving payments and payouts, you must create an account with Adyen through Karma for Business. This step is required before your first sale on Karma as part of your onboarding process.

Follow the instructions below to set up your payout account, and feel free to contact [email protected] if you have any questions!

  1. Create a new payout account in Karma for Business:

    1. Go to All Settings in the menu.

    2. Click on Payment Info (New).

3. Fill in the basic details for your new payout account and click Save.

5. Enter the account number and clearing number where your earnings from Karma will be paid. Click Save.

2. Verify your business with Adyen.

  1. Click on Verify your business with Adyen. You will be redirected to a new page on Adyen's website.

2. (Optional) Change the language to Swedish using the language menu at the top right of the page.

3. Complete the business information by clicking on Add Information.

4. Fill in your business details and click Next.

5. Fill in your registered business address. Note: If your business operates at a different location than your registered address, you must mark this. Click Next.

6. Provided all information is correctly filled in, you can complete this step by clicking Done.

On the main page, you will see how much time is left for Adyen to verify the information you just provided.

7. Complete the bank information by clicking on Upload a Document. Note: Do not click on Add Information.

8. Click on Browse for File to search for a file to upload from your computer. Note: Be patient during the file upload. It may take a few seconds for the page to update, and if you upload the same file again during that time, the entire verification process will be frozen.

Acceptable bank documents:

  • Canceled blank check

  • Bank letter on official letterhead

  • Bank statement from the last 3 months

  • Screenshot from your online banking environment

10. Komplettera Verklig huvudman (UBO) genom att klicka på Lägg till information

11. Select the person's roll

Signatory: Individuals who have the authority to act on behalf of the company in its relationship with Adyen.

You must ensure that at least the following are provided:

  • Either: a. 1 Owner (if they own more than 25% of your company), or b. 1 Controller (if your company does not have an Owner)

13. Fyll i personens adress. Klicka på Nästa.

Your payout account is now displayed as Completed in Karma for Business!

Note! Adyen may need to collect additional information about your company and the designated Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), so keep an eye on the Payment Info page in Karma for Business.

Why does Adyen need so much information about our company?

Finally, according to their partnership agreement, we at Karma can see your information, but we cannot access any of the documents you upload.

Why does Adyen require me to upload an ID?
To verify your identity, Adyen needs to see an official photo ID issued by the government. Make sure the document is still valid—Adyen cannot process expired, hole-punched, or otherwise modified documents.

Adyen accepts a scan or photo of one of these ID types:
