If you serve your guests through counter pickup, you can configure when SMS messages should be sent to the guest and what the message should say.
There is an additional cost of 0.50 SEK per SMS.
Follow the steps below to set up your SMS:
Click on your restaurant name in the top right corner.
Go to All Settings.
3. Select SMS Notifications
4. You can send SMS notifications at up to three different stages (you decide whether to send SMS at all three stages or just one):
a. Order Accepted
An SMS is sent to the guest immediately after they place their order. This message can serve as a confirmation and provide any necessary instructions to the guest.
b. Order Ready for Pickup
An SMS is sent to the guest when you mark an order as ready for pickup. The guest is informed that their order is ready and they can come to collect it.
c. Order Declined
An SMS is sent to the guest if you actively decline an order.
5. Click on Create SMS for the stage where you want to enable SMS notifications
Now you can create the content of the SMS and specify which languages you want the SMS to be sent in.
6. Choose Language
(We recommend having the SMS in both Swedish and English)
If the guest's phone is set to a language other than Swedish or English, the SMS will be sent in English.
7. Select a Message
You can choose our pre-written standard text for Swedish and English.
You can also write your own text (NOTE: max 160 characters).
8. Customizations
You can include the guest’s order number in the SMS (recommended).
You can add the order link in the SMS so they can track their order.
9. Preview
You can see a preview of how the SMS will look to the guest.
10. Save
When you're done, click Save.
11. You’re now done with your first SMS setup!
Repeat the process for the stages and languages you wish to send SMS notifications for!
