It's not uncommon for guests to be given the opportunity to add extras and make adjustments to their order, such as choosing bread and add-ons for their burger. Therefore, you can create Item Customizations/modifiers that allow the guest to make these choices.
To access item customizations, click on the menu and then select Item Customizations.
If you've already created item customizations, they will be displayed on this page.
To create a new item customization group, click on "Add new item customization group". You will then start by typing the name of the item customization group.
This is the title that will be displayed to the guest and will not be shown to the staff on the tickets , so make sure the title is descriptive and preferably in the form of a question. And if so, ensure the reply in understandable for the staff, for instance:
β
- How many wine glasses would you like with your bottle?
β
1 glass
2 glasses
...
8 glasses
I have glasses thanks!
β
If you only put 1, 2 or 6. The ticket might be hard to understand for the staff.

The choice to enable multiple selections depends on the options the guest should have. Not enabling multiple selections means the guest must make a single choice, such as choosing bread for the burger.
Enabling multiple selections means the guest can make multiple choices, such as when it comes to add-ons to the order.
In both cases, you can mark one (or more in the case of multiple selections) of the options as default, which means it's the option preselected for the guest.
In the price column, you enter whether the option should cost extra for the guest, such as if rye bread for the burger costs more than wheat bread.
When you're done creating the item customization group and its options, click "Save".
Tip! Use item customizations to drive upselling, for example, by creating a group of drinks that the guest can add to their order.
